Spicemaster serves authentic Indian food in Riyadh's Al Wizarat district. Restaurant discovery in Riyadh happens on a phone, mid-commute, in two languages — and diners want three things before they decide: what the food looks like, when you are open, and how to get there. We built a single-page site that answers all three in under a second, with no CMS to slow it down and nothing to maintain.

01 — The brief

The challenge

Spicemaster had no web presence beyond social profiles, so diners searching for Indian food in Riyadh couldn't find their menu, opening hours or location. Riyadh's dining audience is genuinely bilingual — customers read and review in both Arabic and English — and a restaurant site that speaks only one of those languages loses half the room. On top of that, a menu-heavy, image-heavy page needed to stay fast on mobile data.

02 — What we built

The solution

We built a hand-coded static site on Bootstrap 5 — no CMS, no database, nothing to break — with a digital menu of 24 dishes split across five categories, each with its own photography. Customer reviews run bilingually in Arabic and English side by side, a Swiper-driven gallery with lightbox shows the dining room, and the contact section pairs an embedded Google Map of the Al Wizarat address with opening hours and a working enquiry form.

03 — Method

How we got there

  1. 01Built a hand-coded static site on Bootstrap 5, with no CMS or database to maintain
  2. 02Structured a 24-dish digital menu across five categories with per-dish photography
  3. 03Presented customer reviews bilingually in Arabic and English for Riyadh's mixed-language audience
  4. 04Built a Swiper gallery with GLightbox so diners can see the room before they book
  5. 05Paired an embedded Google Map of the Al Wizarat address with opening hours and an enquiry form
  6. 06Kept the page fast on mobile data with lazy-loaded imagery and lightweight vendor libraries

04 — Proof

What changed

  • 24-dish digital menu across five categories, each dish photographed
  • Bilingual Arabic and English content serving Riyadh's mixed-language diners
  • Directions, hours and enquiry form in one scroll from the menu
  • Static delivery — no CMS, no database, nothing for the restaurant to maintain
